Interreg-IPA CBC Bulgaria – Serbia Programme invites you to the Arts Festival “Painting our future together”.
The main idea of the festival is to promote the culture, arts and music traditions of the two countries.
First part of the celebration will require active participation of talented pupils from the region that are to paint 8 paintings, illustrating the overall theme of the values of the EU, in parallel with kids’ facial painting of around 50 children, by artists.
Second part will include presentation of best practices of projects from Knjazevac and the region, followed by a joint concert of Choir under the project “Youth Music Master Workshop”: Academic mixed choir “Folk-jazz formation” of the New Bulgarian University – Sofia and Academic Choir of Students’ Cultural Centre of the University of Niš.
Finale of the EC Day 2018 celebration will be a concert of a prominent performer – Biljana Krstić & Bistrik Orchestra, whose opus covers rich musical heritage of the region. The music performed by Bilja Krstic & Bistrik Orchestra is a fusion, blend of traditional ethno music, a Capella songs and ethno grooves with elements of improvisation and modern music approach. Their aim is to translate folklore into contemporary art, their performances to awaken the heart and give rebirth and energy to forgotten emotions.
