Experience the cross-border Geopark!

Doživeti čezmejni Geopark / Den grenzübergreifenden Geopark erleben

In the frame of the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Slovenia-Austria, this year’s European Cooperation Day will be carried out by the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Development and European Cohesion Policy (the Managing Authority) in cooperation with the Austrian programme partner “Amt der Kärntner Landesregierung” and the “Geopark Karavanke/Karawanken”. The aim of the event is to present the cross-border area of the Geopark to the participants. In the frame of the event the participants will be acquainted with three projects that are being implemented in the frame of the programme,  namely EUfutuR, NaKult and NatureGame and will also have the chance to visit the mine in Mežica (Podzemlje Pece) and the Peca/Petzen mountain.

The event is free of charge. The registration for the event will be possible in due time.
