Ten Kerselaere organises each year together with the culture and leisure associations from Heist-op-den-Berg the first Christmas market in the region. Â 50 participants display stands and stalls with various articles. In addition, there are also some tasty snacks and drinks. The aim of this initiative is to reduce the threshold and to introduce local residents to our organisation. Integration in the neighborhood is an important aspect of both the CASCADE project and TICC project. During this event we will showcase these projects.
There is also a dementia friendly walk starting at the entrance of Ten Kerselaere. Along the walk you can find information boards about old crafts in the region. The aims is to induce talks with people living with dementia about the past.
