This conference focuses on maritime transport in the northern Tyrrhenian Sea. It is organised as a final event for the Go SMarT Med project and as a launch event for the EasyLog project. Both projects are funded by the Interreg Italy-France Maritime.
This event will be the occasion to showcase the results of Go SMarT Med, focusing on what has been possible thanks to cross-border maritime cooperation, and to present EasyLog, which is on its starting blocks. During this event, experts from the EU, WestMed Strategy, Italian and French institutions will discuss with the public about the perspectives of transport in the Mediterranean.

More about the projects:
Go SMarT Med focuses on improving the management of maritime freight in order to reduce the isolation of the Islands in Western Mediterranean. It supports the creation of a new governance to improve the connection between core and comprehensive ports and the coordination between maritime transport hubs.
EasyLog sets a next step in this direction, because it aims at developing an ICT system to improve the way information and procedure flows are managed. The overall goal of this project is to strengthen the efficiency of the cross-border connections between secondary and tertiary ports, in order to improve the mobility of people and goods.
